Kittilä Airport (Finavia), KLM, Visit Levi & Visit Ylläs
In collaboration with KLM, Kittilä Airport (part of Finavia), Visit Levi and Visit Ylläs, Zapper PR executed a focused blogger ads campaign in the Netherlands. The collaboration aimed to introduce Dutch travellers to Levi and Ylläs as winter destinations in Finnish Lapland, highlighting their accessibility via direct KLM flights to northern Finland and onward travel through Finavia’s airport network.
The campaign positioned Levi and Ylläs as destinations that offer an authentic Lapland experience: small-scale resorts, vast nature, winter activities and a strong connection to local culture. Rather than mass tourism, the focus was on space, calm and outdoor experiences, appealing to travellers looking for something different within Europe.
Objective
The objective of the campaign was to increase awareness of Levi and Ylläs among Dutch travellers and to support demand for KLM flights to Finland during the winter season. By using trusted voices and personal travel stories, the campaign aimed to inspire travellers in the early stages of trip planning.
