Objective
In the winter campaign, the objective was to create awareness for Salt Lake City and Park City. Promote ‘City & Skiing trips’ to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, Brighton, Park City Mountain resort and Deer Valley.
In the summer campaign, the focus was on the promotion of a city trip to Salt Lake City with the direct KLM flight via Salt Lake City International Airport.

Solution
For the winter campaign, Zapper PR launched the website www.wintersportutah.nl. The website presents holiday packages from partner Tour Operators. To generate website traffic we launched an online campaign in combination with blogger advertorials. The press trips resulted in publications in: de Telegraaf, Haarlems Dagblad, de Standaard, various skiing magazines and reached 1.5 million potential tourists. Zapper PR took care of lead generation, trade contracts and followed the booking requests. Salt Lake City has seen an increase in bookings from the Netherlands and Belgium during the winter season. Our partners are happy with the results and the campaign execution.
For the summer campaign, highlights of the CityZapper campaign were the creation of a city guide, consisting of 45 unique tips in 6 categories. We published 8 advertisement blocks with deals specifically for Salt Lake City. We have written 4 blogs about must-sees and highlights in Salt Lake City.
