Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport & Air France
In collaboration with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Air France, with the support of Visit Phoenix, Zapper PR developed an integrated sales, PR and marketing campaign in the Netherlands. The goal was to position Phoenix and the Greater Phoenix area as a versatile city and leisure destination, easily accessible via Air France with a comfortable transfer in Paris. The campaign focused on Dutch travellers looking beyond the well-known US cities and open to a destination that combines urban culture, nature and outdoor experiences.
Phoenix was presented as a city where modern city life blends naturally with its surroundings: contemporary museums, a strong food scene and distinctive neighbourhoods, set against a backdrop of desert landscapes, mountains and national parks. A destination that can be visited year-round and appeals to a wide range of travel interests.
Objective
The primary objective of the campaign was to stimulate bookings to Phoenix via Air France from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. In addition, the campaign aimed to increase awareness of Phoenix as an attractive and accessible destination for Dutch travellers, suitable for both first-time visitors to the United States and repeat travellers.

To drive both awareness and conversion, Zapper PR executed a broad campaign within the Dutch market, combining inspirational storytelling with practical travel information.
